{Insta} Friday

Our week, in cell phone photos.

it's fun getting a quick glimpse into others' lives, isn't it?
Especially other mommy friends.
Kinda makes me feel a bit more normal about my worn-the-same-running-shorts-for-3-days situation.

-------------------------

Happy 13.1 mile gift left on the front porch of my new neighbor and friend,
who's tackling a half marathon tomorrow.
{Gatorade and new ponytail holders.}
Because, we can all run faster with cute hair ties, right?

And, I'm loving my new Mizunos.
Cranking out the miles on them the past few weeks!

With Grant's crazy tonsillectomy recovery, Grace being super duper sick last week, we haven't gotten out of the house much...so, at least I can throw these shoes on and hit the road.

And, as I find my stride, I pray for our family, our friends, our church.
My friend, Love, has been brought before our Savior lots this week, as she's in Uganda right now trying to bring her boys home.  Praying that they'll come home sooner than later.

And Gracie's new sparklies.

Meant to be hair ties, but worn as bracelets.
because all girls want sparkly accessories, right?

what a sweet gift! Love that idea!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. The half that I'm training for isn't a virtual, it's in Pennsylvania :)

Faith - I've always run in Saucony's, too, before this latest pair! I just tried the newest Sauconys on and they just felt so BULKY on my feet. HE gave me the Mizunos, and they're great. really, really great!! So, you're doing a half? I've debated! Thinking about just a 10K in OCtober, but there's a half here (I'm in the midwest), in October and November, too...

Look at you go! I wish I was brave enough to try a marathon- even a half. I mentioned it to my husband and he told me I was crazy. Haha.

Here is the link where I posted about my finished tables:

They are really so simple! I used Martha Stewarts new line of stencils from Michaels.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love that gift! Very thoughtful!

PS I am NOT a mom, and I still wear my shorts a few days in a row. I have no excuse but laziness.

I need to try those shoes. I run in Asics, but have had Mizunos recommended to me in the past. Do you have wide or narrow feet?

Anna said...

Kyria---I have narrowish feet. I do pronate a bit, and I love the mizunos because even though they're for stability, they feel so light and quick---when I recently got them I tried on some Brooks and sauconys, and they just both felt so bulky! The mizunos don't feel bulky at all. :)
